My name is Mao Okumura. Please call me "mao"!
I am 20 years old and a colleges student in Kumamoto, in Japan. The university's name is Kumamoto Gakuen University. There is the most popular private college in Kumamoto. It is a very nice university. I am the third grader of English and American department. I am mostly studying English in the class of the university.
I am interested in foreign countries. So, I am very excited about visiting America. But at the same time I feel nervous... I have never been to America. In addition, going to the foreign country alone is very uneasy of me. However, I think that this experience becomes a treasure for me in the future. I want to enjoy going to study abroad. I am not very good at English. But I am going to try to communicate with you as hard as I can. I am going to have to depend on you for a lot of things once I get to stay with you, since everything in your country is new to me, but I am looking forward to it. I hope you will enjoy having me there. I hope my stay in America will be pleasant.
I would like to introduce my family to you. I have a happy family. There are six people in my family: my grand parents, my parents, my older brother, and me. My grand parents' names are Isao and Chiaki. They are getting on in years, but they are very vigor! My parents' names are Takao and Noriko. They are get along very well❤ I want to be a as like as their in my future. My mother was flight attendant when she was young. My mother was traveling worldwide on business. There are a lot of photographs taken in the many foreign country when I see her old pictures. My signal to interested in foreign countries is my mother's existence is large. And I have a one older brother. His name is Joesuke. He is twenty seven years old. He is very gentle. We do not live together now, because he is working. I was sometimes to meet him. So I can not meet easily. I love my family so much❤ I wish I want to become your family happily. I am looking forward to seeing you very much.

I have long hair. I am one hundred seventy centimeters tall. I am rather tall in Japanese woman.
My friends say I'm always cheerful. I am well-meaning and try to be well-mannered toward other people. And I cherish the smile. I think the smile makes everyone happy! What a lot of smiles can be shared with your family, I am glad.
My hobby is listening to music. Please tell me a popular singer in your country. The western-style music I often listens to R&B and HIP-HOP. And I like to watch the movie. To watch a foreign movie without the caption when I return home to Japan, I want to become it.
When I go to there I want to eat a lot of delicious food. I do not have the hated food. What is your favorite kind of food? I like cooking. I plan to make Japanese food for your family. Please look forward.
I like to go out. I have come from a great distance, and I want to go to various places. For instance, I want to you to teach a favorite place of a famous spot and so on.
I am looking forward to doing the homestay in your family so much. I just want to see, learn, and experience whatever I can. Please talk to me a lot in English. I would like to put myself in an environment in which I hear and speak English all the time. So I believe that this homestay program will be a wonderful opportunity.
